This is Service Design Doing: Facilitation Deep Dive is an expert course for anyone leading or facilitating co-creative activities, like project workshops, sprints, ideation or prototyping sessions, hacks, jams; or training courses. Part of the prestigious #TiSDD service design brand & featuring Facilitool.
The course takes place in physical space, but the learnings can be adapted to online contexts and there is opportunity to explore this.

Day 1
Exploration & orientation

We explore the knowledge in the room and set expectations for the three days. Through
exercises and theory we map out core skills and principles of great facilitation, like different types of listening and powerful questions.

Basic tools & concepts

Discover your facilitation style in practical exercises and learn how to structure your sessions to engage different preferences. Explore your relative status, and how you can use it to take control or give freedom to participants.

Day 3
Practice & reflection

The final day is yours to explore deeper aspects of facilitation, and to work on your own challenges. Choose where to focus and develop powerful options through valuable feedback from the faculty and your peers.

ABOUT THE COURSE


FACILITATE WITH CONFIDENCE
This three-day course dives deep into facilitation concepts and practices, with a goal of understanding how adults work and learn, as well as better understanding our own behavior and preferences as a facilitator.
Through a series of highly interactive activities, participants will imagine and test facilitation techniques and methods. They will have opportunity to practice and get feedback from faculty and their peers. At the end of the school, they will be fully equipped to lead many types of co-creative workshops, meetings and work groups.

this stand-alone course includes some concepts from our online Facilitation Fundamentals course; FF alumni will have the opportunity to build on and expand their knowledge in practice

it is NOT necessary to complete Facilitation Fundamentals before taking this course

this is NOT a service design course; it is about facilitating service design workshops or projects, and other, similar activities

Refund and cancellation policy for online courses
Up to 6 weeks before the course: Free. Cancellation between 6 weeks and 4 weeks before the course: 25%. Cancellation between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before the course: 50%. Cancellation 2 weeks before the course or later: 100% (Avoid cancellation fees by sending a colleague in your place.) Oh, and if you postpone rather than cancel (or book again soon), we can usually credit most or all of your cancellation fee.

If the course is cancelled because of COVID restrictions, the full ticket price will be refunded.
In some cases, and alternative ONLINE version will be offered at a reduced price.

Payment and invoice
You are able to pay online with credit card, Paypal or by requesting an invoice which will need to be settled by bank transfer immediately. Your registration is completed ONLY when your payment has been received. Payments and invoices are handled by our Swiss-based Co-Creation School partner Sparks Sàrl, who will communicate with you about these matters. All ticket fees are expressed in EUROS, no VAT or handling fees will be charged.
